Send to Obsidian
FlowFerry can send your saved articles directly to an Obsidian vault as markdown files.
Configuration
iOS and macOS
On Apple platforms, FlowFerry uses the Obsidian URL scheme (obsidian://) to send content.
- Go to Settings > Connections.
- Tap Obsidian.
- Enter your Vault Name — this must match the exact name of your Obsidian vault.
- Optionally specify a target folder within the vault.
When you send an article, FlowFerry will open Obsidian and create a new markdown note in the specified vault.
Android, Windows, and Linux
On these platforms, FlowFerry writes markdown files directly to the vault folder on your file system.
- Go to Settings > Connections.
- Tap Obsidian.
- Select your Vault Path using the file picker.
- Optionally specify a target folder within the vault.
FlowFerry will save articles as .md files in the selected vault directory.
