Raycast Extension

With the FlowFerry extension for Raycast, you can save the article you're reading — or any URL — to your library with a single hotkey, without leaving the keyboard.

Setup

1. Install the FlowFerry extension from the Raycast Store.
2. Go to flowferry.app/account, sign in, and under API Key click Generate API Key. Copy the key — it is only shown once.
3. Run any FlowFerry command in Raycast. You'll be prompted for the API key on first use — paste it and you're done.

Commands

Save Active Tab

Saves the article in your active browser tab. This command requires the Raycast Browser Extension companion, available for Chrome, Safari, Arc, Edge, Firefox, Brave, and Vivaldi.

Save URL

Opens a small form to save a specific URL. If your clipboard contains a URL, it is prefilled automatically. You can optionally override the article title before saving.

Saved articles appear in the FlowFerry app after your next sync.

Managing Your API Key

The API key works like a password for saving articles: anyone who has it can add articles to your library (they cannot read, change, or delete anything).

If you lose the key or want to revoke access from a device, go to flowferry.app/account and click Rotate. The old key stops working immediately, and you'll need to update the key in Raycast's extension preferences.

About Your Data

Articles saved through the Raycast extension pass through our server, the same way browser extension clips do.

A network connection is required when you open the app to fetch the content you saved. Once the save is complete, you no longer need to stay connected.

All content sent to our server will be permanently deleted after 7 days, even if you haven't synced it to your library.
